FAHION INITIATE is an Australian based company set up so the outsourcing is directly done in Australia, who takes the responsibility of delivering the goods to you and not scamming Australian designers. We are here to help the designers , business owners to do clothing manufacturing done in overseas.
- Are you an Agent?
No, we are a business who have our own manufacturing plants overseas, set up as a joint venture.
- I am not a designer. But love to have my own label . Can you help?
Yes , You dont have to be a designer to get the clothing line done . We are here to help.
- I have a vision is there any way you can help?
Yes we can. When we do the first consultation we will discuss your needs and present options that you may not of considered. Once you are happy we can continue the process.
- I have a rough idea of the designs I want. Can you guide me with fabric suggestions and where to go to from there.?
Yes , Our team is fully capable in doing so as they are very thorough on fabric technology.
- I want my clothes ethically made . Is that possible?
Yes, All the items are ethically made in compliance approved factories.
- Is any work done in China ?
No. FASHION INITIATE is totally based on Quality , since we cannot guarantee the quality from China as they switch manufacturers, we do not work with them. But we work with them closely in sourcing fabrics and accessories.
- Where is the manufacturing done?
We mainly manufacture in Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Philippines.
- Can I know the costs involved before I start?
Yes we will discuss and advise you of the complete costs involved at the first consultation.
- Can you develop and source my trims too for production?
Yes, If you want any special trims sourced this can be done as well.
- Why do I have to pay for the first Consultation?
We have to organize and spend a few hours with you on the first day of consultation which takes us away from the work. t/fore we charge for first consultation but based on the work if you decide to go ahead with us we will reimburse a percentage of the consultation fee back to you or full payment if you decide to go all the way up to the stand ready manufacturing. Consultation fee is $250 which must be paid fully at the session.
- What is the lead time for whole process ?
Lead time will vary based on the your product requirements and the raw materials used. But most of the time we can get the goods ready in 100 days from start to finish.
- Why Manufacturing with Fashion Initiate is better than working with direct overseas companies?
As the Owner of the company I have come across many people who have tried to do the manufacturing overseas and got scammed. We are based in NSW Australia and we do not ask you to make overseas payments. All transactions happen in Australia.
